DeleteI was selling IT enabled services including intangible electronic music products in the internet. My tax filing consultant was Express Club in Karachi and their website is www............. My tax consultant gave me a certificate for the bank that my services are exempted from Tax in Pakistan. My bank acted upon my tax consultant advise. After 4 years I was selected for random income tax audit. On the day of income tax audit my consult did not appeared for audit and also did not provide me my record. My consultant told me that he appeared in audit of fbr and my audit is cleared. After some months I received show cause letter from fbr that I did not appear with my record in fbr audit therefore I should explain.
ReplyDeleteMy consultant again bluffed me and did not appear in fbr. FBR passed order of 4 Lack 16 thousand. Now my tax consultant told me that I should pay him one lac fifty thousand fee and he will provide me some relief in tax.
In this situation I did not believe my tax consultant and paid all the tax which was 80% higher what I earned. Now I want to tell other tax payers that they should not trust any tax consultant and they should keep copies of their record for the audit. Please publish my story in the net so that other persons should learn lessons in Pakistan about cheater tax consultants. I am also developing a word press blog about these cheater consultants.
